As 1 of only 31 Certified EcoBrokers in North Carolina, I am very aware of the value that green homes can bring to both buyers and sellers.
A green home is a type of house designed to be environmentally friendly and sustainable, while also focusing on the efficient use of “energy, water, and building materials.” As green homes have become more prevalent we have also seen the emergence of green affordable housing. Green affordable housing shares the same aims as traditional green homes but emphasize affordability, which inevitably reduces the environmentally friendliness of the home. The idea of affordable green homes is a contentious issue with critics claiming this is a fallacy and that green homes are inherently more costly than traditional homes.
As a Certified ECOBROKER I can help you determine if a Green Home is right for you and your family and put you in touch with builders that specialize in building Green Homes.
What does it mean to Go GREEN? I provide information that you as a seller or buyer need to know about buying and building Energy Efficient and Eco-friendly.
